The Brand Identity Feature for Weekly Tales

The Brand Identity have today (26 March) posted about our work developing the Weekly Tales platform. The article, written by Poppy Thaxter, explores Weekly Tales' position amongst other 'online news' outlets, whilst also featuring an interview with designers Niall and Jack, who led with web and brand development respectively.

"The realm of online news, to describe it in the mildest of terms, is a hive of buzzwords, rampant sensationalism, and unpredictable chaos. In a space often-dedicated to hyperbole and magnifying the extremes, finding nuance and authenticity is akin to looking for an oasis in a desert."

"The rebrand therefore showcases a versatile visual identity, including a natural colour palette, a malleable wordmark and website enhancements aimed at streamlining functionality and harmonising visual and textual elements."

Our collaborative approach to work has proven successful, with us working alongside Weekly Tales for over 5 years and guiding the platform through continual visual development. We align with the values promoted in their work. We are well-placed to create considered work that proves complementary to the platform's mission, that is, to document the overlooked and underappreciated.
